La Sagrada Familia

Visiting La Sagrada Familia was nothing short of breathtaking. Designed by the legendary architect Antoni Gaudí, this basilica is unlike anything I’ve ever seen—a stunning blend of Gothic and modernist architecture that feels almost otherworldly. From the intricate carvings on the facades to the towering spires reaching toward the sky, every detail tells a story.
Stepping inside, I was mesmerized by the vibrant light streaming through the stained glass windows, filling the space with a kaleidoscope of colors. The interior feels like a forest brought to life, with tree-like columns stretching high above. What amazed me most was learning that construction began in 1882 and continues to this day, with plans to finish by 2026 (though delays may push this further).
La Sagrada Familia isn’t just a church—it’s a testament to creativity, devotion, and the power of human imagination. It’s a place that leaves you in awe and reminds you that some masterpieces take time.
Park Güell
Wandering through Park Güell felt like stepping into a dream. Perched high above the city, this whimsical masterpiece by Antoni Gaudí offers a colorful blend of art and nature. While I didn’t make it to the famous columns and mosaics underneath, exploring the upper parts of the park was an experience I’ll never forget.
As I strolled along the winding paths, I found myself drawn to the breathtaking view of Barcelona below, stretching all the way to the shimmering Mediterranean Sea. The golden hues of the setting sun painted the sky, making the moment feel like pure magic. Adding to the atmosphere was the soulful sound of a man playing the violin. I stopped to listen for a while, soaking in the serenity of the music and the beauty of the view—it was a perfect, peaceful ending to my day.
