The North Rim of the Grand Canyon offers a more secluded and tranquil experience, often referred to as the "quieter side". I happily ended up on the North Rim by accident and can attest to it being quieter as well as cooler, due to its higher elevation.
The South Rim is the most popular and accessible part of the Grand Canyon. It is home to some of the park's most famous viewpoints like Mather Point, Hopi Point, and the Bright Angel Trail.
