Zion National Park is a breathtaking blend of towering sandstone cliffs, narrow slot canyons, and lush green valleys. Famous for its vibrant red rock formations, Zion offers stunning views at every turn. Upon entering the park, I was in awe of the beauty surrounding me.
We chose to hike Zion Canyon Overlook Trail (1 mile), one of the park's best short hikes. I love it because of the incredible views for a relatively east trek. This round-trip trail winds along sandstone cliffs, leading to a breathtaking overlook of Zion Canyon. From the viewpoint, you'll see stunning vistas of towering red rock walls, the winding road below, and the dramatic entrance to the Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel. This is a perfect way to experience Zion's beauty without a long, strenuous hike. Be sure to bring your camera - this hike offers some of the most iconic views of the entire park!
