Ibiza - An island that's more than just a party!

March 8, 2025

Ibiza is known for its legendary nightlife, but my day trip from Mallorca showed me a completely different side of the island—one filled with history, stunning landscapes, and unique artistic landmarks.

I started my day by heading straight to Castell de Eivissa, the impressive fortress that sits atop Dalt Vila, Ibiza’s charming old town. Walking through the Portal de ses Taules, the grand stone entrance, felt like stepping back in time. Wandering through the cobblestone streets, I admired the historic architecture and enjoyed sweeping views of the island from the top.

After exploring the old town, I made my way to Cala d’Hort Beach for a relaxing picnic lunch. With Es Vedrà—the mysterious rock formation rising from the sea—in the distance, it was the perfect place to soak in Ibiza’s natural beauty.

Next, I set out to explore some of Ibiza’s hidden artistic gems. Tiempo y Espacio, often called "Ibiza’s Stonehenge," was an unexpected find—towering stone columns arranged in a circle, perfectly aligned with the sunset. Nearby, I visited Las Puertas de Can Soleil, a set of ornate wooden doors standing alone in the landscape, adding an air of mystery to the scenery.

To end the day, I stopped at Las Dalias Market, a vibrant bohemian market filled with colorful stalls selling handcrafted goods, clothing, and jewelry. The atmosphere was lively, making it the perfect place to browse for unique souvenirs and soak up Ibiza’s artistic energy.

Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Ibiza has something for everyone!
